Happy 20th Birthday, CasaDecor!

After a long trip through Doha… I’m finally back in Madrid… I can’t believe it’s summer already!

Love Holidays, even when DHL (on my blacklist already and forever) has retained all my luggage since last Thursday!!

Holidays without clothes, shoes, books and my camera are not the same at all… but still…

I’m happy to be back!

Although time difference, from Madrid to Dubai, is only two hours, I needed a whole day sleeping to recover… it’s nice to have a “baby-day” from time to time… sleep, eat, sleep, eat, sleep.

First morning I was actually awake I was surprised with a visit to

Love this event.

Last year’s was quite poor though; but this year it was amazing!

The venue, Real Compañía Asturiana de Minas (Asturian Mines Royal Company), a XIX century building located @ the heart of Madrid...

As soon as you walk in, you'll be speechless

The contrast between the classicism of the building and the modernism of the designers' proposals was fantastic.

(Little houses made of mirror, grass, soft toys, etc)

(Baby room - Love this one)

(Grown up room in Silver and White. Walk-in crystal closet and the perfect mannequin)

(With this shower... I'll never be out of the house!)

The Penthouse of the Princess... frog included...by my beloved IKEA...Clau! thought of you when I saw it!

This is me when I buy something there:

And to finish... Chanel had a "Cabaret-look-like" make up stand where you could try the new Spring/Summer Collection and, of course, bring all tiny size Chanel home with you!

(My new Chanel Lipstick is named Mademoiselle...there were no better name!)

Are you into home interiors?

Any favourite designer?

If you are in Madrid, CasaDecor will last a few days more. Don't miss it!

♥ at First Sight

It was love at first sight … I’m in love with

since I discovered the amazing boutique they have in Dubai in the Dubai Mall, the World’s biggest mall.

First time I was actually able to go shopping, under the excuse of a needed Shopping Therapy , I passed by and immediately came back… you don’t want to know how much money I spent in less than an hour…

everything was so fabulous!

a mix of classic, feminine, sexy and modern style not following trends but being a unique design…It was impossible not to fall in love with it!

From gorgeous dresses to shorts, delicate silk tops, shoes, handbags and accessorizes…you can dress up from head to toes being just there… and that’s exactly what I did…I will post my Ted Baker’s looks next week, hope you love them as much as I do!

But… Who is Ted Baker?

As Ray Kelvin, CEO of the global brand, explained @ Tokyo Weekender (full interview: clic!)

“Ted has always been something of an enigma, traveling the globe, setting rather than following fashion, mixing business and pleasure, wherever the fancy has taken him. A pioneering fashion icon (not to mention an intrepid aviator, all-round sportsman and consort of Princesses and Hollywood beauties), the life, loves and adventures of the debonair Mr Baker stand testimony to a man whose ambition is to experience everything.”

Founded in Glasgow in 1988, Ted Baker started as a menswear boutique, just shirts… it was 7 years later when, thanks God!, they realize women would love Ted Baker too!

And Ted loves us too: this is an example of the messages you will find on women’s clothes and shoes (golden sole!):

Now the brand has gone global with stores all around the world… although in Spain we only have corners inside El Corte Inglés… hope one day they will open a flagship in Madrid!

MAKE Fashion!

Last Sunday I did such an amazing discovery… thanks to Twitter (@BeaAzcarate) I must say…

(view from the street, bar, deco wooden letters)

It’s Leith Matthews (@LeithMatthews) idea: a creative place where you can network, have a coffee, work, etc they have all you might need and the atmosphere is fantastic and, most important, it’s so inspirational.

Almost everyday they organise conferences, networking events, etc.

Last Sunday this was the occasion:

And, of course, I could not possibly miss it!

Purple PR Team organised everything and it was perfect!

Lots of creative talents attended and we had such a good time.

Not only I met brilliant entrepreneurs like Ana Zayan from S*uce or Micha from Garderobe

but also I had the pleasure to meet Simon Lock, the founder of RAFW (Rosemund Australian Fashion Week) among others.

Yes, I’m in love with him!

Jokes aside, he was this kind of uncomplicated, funny, enchanting and magnetic people you meet from time to time if you are lucky… well I was… and twice, because Kirsten Doak, Fashion Editor of VIVA was there too, and I can assure you, she is lovely.

After 3 presentations of how to create your own fashion brand, S*uce’s story and Garderobe we had a very nice dinner and…I almost forgot to tell you! GLAMBOX (the equivalent to our Glossybox in Spain) prepared one of their fabulous boxes and the winner was… me!! I was so thrilled J I’ll tell you about all the luxury products I’m trying in another post soon!

Although I was shy enough to think it twice…

I’m so glad I went to the event and met them all!

It was really good fun!

AT.Mosphere

Have you ever dreamt of having dinner on a 122nd floor?

That it’s exactly what we did a couple of weeks ago and it was quite an experience.

Welcome to the world’s highest restaurant

At.Mosphere is located in the world’s highest building: the impressive Burj Khalifa.

Even though, finding the entrance of the venue was almost impossible, how can that be possible? The good news are that you have enough time, while looking for the entrance, to see the amazing Dubai Fountains:

But I must say that once we found it, it was quite cool.

The restaurant’ staff, all in black in a very Bond style, guided us to the lift… floor 123… straightforward… quite frightening.

When we stepped out to the lift we had to descend a staircase to the 122nd floor and there we were: Left to go to The Lounge, right to make it to The Grill.

We had our reservation @ The Lounge which is more informal and relax.

Great table by the window… spectacular view: to see Dubai lit up at night is a sight to behold.

Absolutely amazing and completely worth each penny (each Dirham in this case :-)!)

We have some appetizers like the cheese fondue or the spice chicken sticks, for main course we had the burger, created by their executive chef Dwayne Cheer, who has spent more than 13 years working in Michelin star restaurants, all accompanied by mojitos and daiquiris.

To have a reservation made you either can contact Mr. Mohamed Fawaz (don’t forget to tell him about this review and @BeaAzcarate) by email: reservations@atmosphereburjkhalifa.com or by phone: +971 4 888 3828

A name, phone number and a credit card are required.

And to finish, here it goes my review:

Which is your favourite restaurant in Dubai?

MontBlanc: A tribute to Grace and Elegance

Last weekend, I pampered myself with a day of shopping at the Dubai Mall and

it was fantastic!

I love this mall, they have absolutely everything!

These days, when you walk through the main entrance you will see the most amazing stand you’ve ever seen:

Montblanc´s tribute to Grace Kelly

Grace as an Icon of Style

Grace as a symbol of natural Elegance

Grace as a reflection of happiness

Grace as “a unique”

She starred the most romantic fairytale came true the day she met H.S.H. Prince Rainiero de Monaco.

The Fairytale I want for myself ;-)

A collection inspired in the favourite flower of H.S.H. Princess Grace:

The Rose of Monaco, one of a kind.

After seeing the marvellous stand, the collection of pictures, the new jewellery collection with which Montblanc supports the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, they will give you a booklet full of stunning pictures of the unique actress and, of course, a pink rose.

Do you believe in Fairytales? don´t miss this video: ¡clic!

Which one is yours?

Have a lovely day!
